Our Club was formed in September, 1989 as a one vehicle club for LADA NIVA Owners and future owners. The N.N.O.C. arranged National Road Tax Vehicle (RTV) trials for Nivas. Pub meets sprang up to discuss Nivas on a local basis. We have a technical advisor to give help and advice.
Various committee members and members have undertaken and continue to undertake greenlaning trips in accordance with the Club’s policy of responsible off-road use.
We have organised caravan/camping, fun weekends which have been held at or near off-road centres or greenlanes. At these venues we have successfully incorporated driver 4 x 4 training days which gave many novice Niva drivers their first experience of off-road driving under the supervision of a more experienced off-road driver. These drivers could have a play, and display their off-road skills in both competitive and non-competitive events. Events are organised as nationally as possible throughout the UK but we are dependent on volunteers to organise these events.
The committee produces a Club magazine. This publication airs news and views relating to the Niva not only from the UK, as we are in correspondence with Niva Clubs in Australia and New Zealand.
Annual subscriptions are as marked on membership application form |
